Meet 2yo Huey! Huey is a male English basset looking for a new home. He is house-trained, good with dogs and cats, older kids only please. 
 

Huey is a good boy who loves to snuggle, especially likes to sleep with you under the covers, and give sloppy wet kisses! He is a bit of a Velcro boy! He is not a fan of crates but does ok when left alone. He loves to be outside but will need some work with leash manners. He will need a home with a fenced in yard and is being fostered in Columbus. His adoption fee is $300.

Adoption Process:

To meet one our dogs you must first fill out our application on our website ohiobassetrescue.com. Once submitted one of our volunteers will reach out to you. Upon approval you will be given an approval code to email us at ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com. Approvals are good for 6 months for any current or future dogs. After 6 months you will be directed to fill out an updated application. Please note we only process applications where the adopter lives in OH, IN, KY, PA, WV, lower MI. Adopters must be willing to travel to meet the dog they are adopting. Dogs locations are listed on their profile description on our website. Dogs are NOT all located in Brookville, that is our mailing address. Please understand we are all volunteers and will respond as soon as we can as we all have jobs and family obligations.
